Research Interests 

Wide interest in water quality in various freshwater bodies, from shallow and hypereutrophic lakes, wetlands, to experimental lakes. I received my PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Limnology under Dr. Emily Stanley. My work focuses on the spatial heterogeneity of lakes and understanding how they function during algal blooms and what those dynamics may look like across larger spatial scales. 

I am currently working as a Water Resources Management Specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, where I conduct statewide wetland condition assessments, botanical surveys, and hydrological monitoring.
